This is a unique opportunity to drive impact at DoorDash at an inflection point where our focus is on achieving global scale, enabling new lines of business, and serving new employee segments.

The Global Learning + Development team at DoorDash is a cross functional team of 23 who leads DoorDash University. Throughout the year, the Global Learning + Development team designs, develops and delivers transformative learning and development experiences for all DoorDash employees. As part of the Global Learning + Development team, the Learning Experience Designer will be joining an agile, world class team with a strong bias for action that is focused on scaling learning for a growing and dynamic employee population.

About the Role

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to design and develop training programs, learning solutions, and accessible interactions that focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI),  and approaches to support and sustain an inclusive culture at DoorDash. You will also have an opportunity to help innovate and evolve the way we build and deliver learning.

You will report to the Head of Learning Design on our Global Learning + Development team in our Talent Management organization.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to design and create blended learning resources.
  • Design accessible and inclusive training solutions for a global employee population.
  • Serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the Head of Learning Design and  cross functional business partners about talent enablement. 
  • Use data, analytics and anecdotes to develop insights about our training, evaluate success and drive decisions.
  • Develop, coach and mentor others on the Global Learning + Development Team by fostering psychological safety where every team member can contribute and be their best selves.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development solutions; video editing, microlearning, and digital transformation experience are a plus.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in DEI, DEIB, or social justice and equity work.
  • You have a proven track record of leveraging your design and technical skills in building, driving and scaling asynchronous learning and development solutions with tools like Articulate 360 Suite, Camtasia, iSpring Suite, and the Adobe Suite.
  • You lead with curiosity, are passionate about scaling learning and you strongly believe that a successful Global Learning + Development strategy includes the advancement and upward mobility of women, nonbinary and underrepresented employees.
  • You have strong analytical and stakeholder management skills; you pride yourself on being an effective communicator and building strong relationships that serve as one of the foundations of your work.
  • You are able to translate complex systems and processes into practical learning utilizing storyboards, design thinking sessions and stakeholder interviews.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $75,863 - $102,638 plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
