Job Description

During our 10-week summer internship program, you'll join our Compute Enterprise Infrastructure team who provides top notch technical support for all of our colleagues across 23andMe. You'll have the opportunity to develop skills such as asset and identity management, deployment automation, and client management in a corporate setting. The dates for Cohort 1 will be June 5, 2023 - August 18, 2023; the dates for Cohort 2 will be June 20, 2023 - September 1, 2023.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the IT Help Desk team and triage new tickets
  • Work on projects related to:
    • Asset Management
    • Identity Management
    • Deployment Automation
    • Client Management


What You’ll Bring

  • Fundamental understanding on Operating Systems, Web Technologies.
  • Scripting a plus, BASH, Powershell, Python preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical end users.
  • Strong Customer Service skills.
  • You are currently pursuing a degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field.
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Ability to work onsite at our Sunnyvale and South San Francisco offices
