We are looking for a seasoned IT Director to join Journey.
About the Position:
In this broadly influential, global position, your contributions will be wide ranging and multi-faceted. As a senior leader, this role is accountable to executing business objectives and strategies as they change or evolve with exec or investor decisions. As a result, the following is an overview of what you can expect to tackle, but should by no means be considered a comprehensive list:
- Transform an IT structure which is currently an obstacle to a stable, cost-effective platform for acquisition and organic growth
- Drive the IT tools, platform, hardware and people consolidation strategy of both the existing studios and future acquisitions
- Manage all aspects of Journey’s hardware, software and service offering, partnering with Journey’s global executive team to define our IT infrastructure roadmap and prioritization
- Own project/program management for your team’s efforts, ensuring on-time & budget roll out of your initiatives
- Drive technology, platform and vendor selection, craft and manage successful partner relationships
- Define and implement means to measure adoption, efficacy and overall success of IT initiatives, service models, tool
- Strive for continuous improvement & innovation in the discipline and its offerings to the business
- Set, document and track goals for, and performance of, Journey’s IT team
- Coach and mentor team members, helping them to level up their skills and progress within their careers
About You:
You are someone who wants to influence your own development. - An uncanny ability to embrace ambiguity and create clarity
- Hard skills in the discipline coupled with the business acumen and soft skills required to successfully generate support for your initiatives

- Exemplary project management expertise, with a track record of successful IT roll outs in matrix environments
- An ability to identify future business needs, requirements and trends in your discipline ahead of the curve
- A high degree of organizational and cross-functional agility; an ability to connects dots and build bridges across functions and disciplines
- A Passion for working in Creative Class environments
- A powerful history (10+ years) as an IT practitioner, with exceptional technical knowledge of network hardware, software, protocols, and technologies. Including Citrix, Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a distributed team over a period of at least 5 years
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
Salary Pay Range$160,000—$190,000 USDAbout Journey:
