We use AI and single-cell analysis to quickly recognize the bacteria causing an infection and to predict which drugs will cure the infection. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and thorough Inventory Specialist to join our Supply Chain team with hands-on shipping and receiving support. You will be a key part of scaling our inventory management function and partner closely with our Production, Hardware Engineering, Clinical, and lab-based teams to ensure they have what they need and inventory is organized and accurate.
How You Will Contribute (Responsibilities)
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods
- Conduct regular physical counts of stocked materials to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Transfer raw materials to forward stocking locations
- Collaborate with our production team to optimize inventory levels based on demand and production schedules
- Package and prepare outgoing shipments to labs and partners including coordinating with logistics
- Maintain accurate records and reports using our inventory management system
- Identify and address any inventory-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner

- Have great organizational skills and follow instructions precisely
- Self-manage your time to fulfill different responsibilities throughout the week
- Are detail-oriented and can stay focused on repetitive tasks for long periods
- Perform and document basic mathematical calculations
- Proficient with Units of Measures and conversions
- Utilize basic Excel Spreadsheet functions (ex, filtering, sorting, equations)
- Are adaptable and flexible to changing priorities, including changing tasks or projects throughout the day
- Enjoy working independently and in a group to solve problems
- Proactively seek to understand priorities and look for efficiencies in process
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in stocking, receiving, selecting, warehouse, or receiving
- Can lift a maximum of 25 lbs
- Can drive without restrictions including possessing a valid driver's license
A Plus if You have Experience with
- Improving warehouse and material handling efficiencies
- Communicating and working with vendors
- A healthcare or laboratory setting
- Logistics providers (FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- NetSuite or Oracle
Details
- Day shift (8:00 AM -5:30 PM), Full-time, Monday - Friday
- Non-exempt
- Pay is $21-$22/hour
- Travel 2-3x per month within 10 mile radius on average using own or rental vehicle
