- Build, deploy, manage, and maintain the Kong and NGINX gateway clusters and troubleshoot failures to ensure the stable operation of the service;
- Manage and maintain CDN acceleration lines;
- Encourage automation and stable construction of gateway cluster configuration management and improve monitoring alarms;
- Evaluate business requirements and configure domain proxies and forwards in the gateway;
- Identify and resolve online issues such as HTTP access errors, high latency, and other problems based on alarms or user feedback;
- Write and specify related documentation and guidelines for the gateway.
What We Look For In You
- Have at least 5 years' relevant practical experience in operating and maintaining NGINX, Kong, or OpenResty;
- Be proficient in configuring and optimizing NGINX basic settings and parameters to account for functions and application scenarios of common NGINX modules;
- Be familiar with various system commands on the Linux operating system and be able to effectively apply them to various troubleshooting needs;
- Be proficient in TCP/IP, HTTP, and WebSocket protocols;
- Be able to use TCPdump to troubleshoot network-related problems;
- Be proficient in at least two scripting languages, such as Python, Shell, or Lua, to improve work efficiency;
- Be familiar with DNS/CDN/WAF technologies and mainstream products such as Cloudfront/Akamai/Cloudflare;
- Be familiar with load balancing products such as NLB/ALB;
- Be able to configure and apply various common services such as DNS, SSH, FTP, and ELK.
- Have experience using Cloud services similar to Alibaba Cloud or AWS.
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English for liaising with counterparts in Mandarin speaking markets
