Who We’re Looking for:  

We're looking for an Inbound Logistics Manager to join our Operations team. This position’s core area of responsibility involves all aspects of imports of Therabody products into North America. This manager should be a self-starter who has solid knowledge of international freight, ability to think and build strategically, while being agile enough to perform daily tasks as well. This role reports into the Director of Global Logistics.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee all daily activities of international import operations into North America, including overseeing customs clearance
  • Ensure documentation and routings are accurate for both imports and some exports
  • Manage or enhance current freight forwarders’ performances around operations, reporting, and KPI’s
  • Provide support and expertise with internal customers across sales and operations, providing key end to end details such as in transit and delivery updates from origin to destination
  • Manage and negotiate freight costs with domestic partners surrounding port operations
  • Manage data and reports for all related activities, provide KPI’s
  • Manage related financial aspects of the role, such as Accounts Payable, Audits, Costs, KPI’s, and budgeting
  • Support global RFQ on international freight as well as ad hoc freight requests
  • Assist in arranging OTR cross border shipments
  • Assess and continue to build towards an efficient and nimble logistics process and organization
  • Create and present market updates, trends, and other related content for internal customers

 The Right Person Would Have 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required with 7+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Solid international freight experience (air, ocean, parcel, cross border), with customs compliance experience a plus
  • Excellent analytic and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience managing external supplier relationships, such as freight forwarders, warehouse partners, customs broker etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once with overlapping deadlines and timelines
  • Understanding of import/export documentation requirements and other related regulations
  • A history of working with consumer products or similar goods; dangerous goods/batteries a plus
  • TMS experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.

 

The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,000 to $100,000. This base pay range is for the U.S. and not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience, business sector and geographic location. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus, although incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
