Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR & Ops Intern to join our People team. As an HR & Ops Intern, you will have the opportunity to make an impact by assisting in day to day operations, employee onboarding and orientation, and participating in the planning and execution of key HR programs, initiatives, and communications. This role will expose you to an early stage HR department focusing on building a solid foundation enabling a fast growing startup to scale and Sandboxers to thrive.
Core Responsibilities:
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR & ops related matters.
- Streamline and coordinate a white glove new hire onboarding experience.
- Research and implement solutions for HR & Ops automation.
- Help draft and publish HR communications, policies, and guidelines.
- Build and update company knowledge base and internal wiki.
- Compile and maintain up-to-date company-wide resources and tools.
- Research and launch company programs and culture initiatives.
Who you are:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management, Business, or related field.
- Embody a high level of trust.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally with Recruiting, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, HRIS, people platforms, and productivity tools.
