Head of Research & Protocol Design - Adim

Adim is transforming the way characters are created, owned and shared in a web3 world. The products and infrastructure we build are at the heart of that endeavor. This role will focus on designing a system for large-scale human coordination to drive creative collaboration and fandom around new IP.

Responsibilities:

• Design & prototype key user attributes like reputation, identity and skills protocols
• Design & prototype prototype designs, incentive and economic mechanisms to support creative development and distribution of IP
• Ensure integrity and effectiveness of protocol designs, e.g., non-exploitable, outcomes match the design intent
• Collaborate closely with product, engineers, and executive stakeholders to finalize protocol designs and support production implementations
• Innovate on our our proprietary technologies, services and solutions to push the boundaries of web3 technology

You might be a fit for this role if you

• Are a first principles and systems thinker and are passionate about applying that to address problems of human coordination and collaboration
• Understand gaming incentive structures and economic market design
• Have a degree in Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Are well-versed in the value proposition of web3
• Have experience building or integrating web3/decentralized technologies, infrastructure and tooling.
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Commitment to excellence, adaptability and accountability in an fast moving environment
• Have excellent communication skills and can document mechanism design
• Are self-starting - can extract intent from key stakeholders and efficiently find and present solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Early stage startup experience
• Have contributed to or understand open-source culture
• Creative spirit and entrepreneurial disposition
