About the Role
We’re looking to partner with an energetic, forward-thinking, collaborative and experienced professional to lead our People Operations and Talent Acquisition functions. As the company's first formal "Head of People & Talent", this high-impact role offers massive growth opportunities. You will have the chance to design, refine & execute on a people strategy across the full lifecycle experience of a team member at House Rx - from recruiting and onboarding, through engagement, performance management, learning and development. You’ll also foster an environment that allows each team member to contribute fully to our mission and culture.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor and key thought partner on People & Talent matters
- Create and implement People & Recruiting strategies and processes in a way that support the operational needs of the business
- Build credible relationships at all levels of organization and maintain an in-depth understanding of the core short and long term objectives of the business to support informed talent acquisition and retention planning
- Develop and implement a people strategy by anticipating future talent needs, recruitment forecasts, succession planning, and retention planning for critical positions.
- Attract, hire and retain talent across the organization with focus on metrics, high caliber candidate experience and a scalable process/strategy aligned with company goals
- Oversee benefits with an emphasis on compliance, efficiency, and cost containment, including 401(k) administration and compliance and Leave of Absence programs
- Partner with People Experience Director on implementing initiatives around performance, training and development, employee relations, and culture in order promote wellness, productivity and retention
Expected Full-Time Base Salary: $150,000- $190,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements, equity, paid time off and benefits.
About You
- 5+ years human resources generalist experience with at least 2 years working in an HR management or leadership capacity
- 5+ years recruiting corporate, commercial, clinical or technical roles, ideally with at least 2 years leading a talent acquisition team
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing systems to support a fast scaling team while maintaining a people-first approach, ideally within a growth stage startup
- Functional expertise across general human resource disciplines including compensation practices, benefits, HR compliance, HR systems and organizational planning, diagnosis & design
- Strong problem solving and employee relations skills
- Experience partnering with and influencing business stakeholders & senior leaders
- Experience managing/mentoring others in your function
- Ability to dive deep, attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong project management and collaboration skills with a proven ability to balance shifting priorities, meet deadlines and build strong working relationships
- Experience in establishing new offices is a plus
