Head of Data Science - Bold Metrics

We are currently searching for a Head of Data Science to join our fast-growing team. This is a full-time remote position. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest partners within the retail industry. 

About You:  

You are a humble, passionate, and experienced engineer that is excited to write code but is also comfortable working with sales, accounts, and other engineers. You have a positive outlook and are interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment. 

How You Will Make an Impact:  

• You’ll build and improve on our fleet of ML models. 
• You’ll continue research to improve recommendations for our customers and continue building out first of its kind models, starting with the apparel industry. 
• You’ll help shape clothing manufacturing for our clients with our data. 
• You’ll collaborate with a team excited to improve environmental impact and improve e-commerce. 

Skills and Qualifications: (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply) 

• 6+ years’ experience working as a Data Scientist in a professional setting.
• You have a leader’s mindset and are interested in growing a team of other data scientists. 
• You understand supervised machine learning well and are comfortable with both traditional modeling techniques as well as neural networks. 
• Your tool chest spans prototyping with Python/Jupyter/SQL & can assist in deploying with Docker. 
• You are interested in exploring our data to improve our products & can easily extract insights. 

• You are research-focused and are interested in finding new ways to solve problems. 
• You’re excited to build automated model training infrastructure.
• You're able to describe ML principles easily to others.
