Media.Monks is looking for a Head of Account to join our ever-growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the business, while being the day-to-day point of contact for one of the biggest brands in the industry with a specialization in the US Hispanic market.. This position is based in Southern California and will work with teams across the US and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our partner offices, finding synergies in communication and time management for specific projects
- Act as the bridge between our Monks and the client for social campaigns, film production, transcreations, rich media, influencer campaigns and more.
- Being accountable for the end delivery, proactively managing expectations along the way.
- Help define the scope for each project, ensuring proposals meet the client’s brief and business objectives above anything else.
- Work as a strategic partner who understands the client’s brand and business, actively identifying new opportunities to better serve their needs.
- Analyze opportunities and recommend strategies and tactics (advertising, media, promotions, digital and social media, retail marketing, experiential, grassroots, etc.)
- As needed: plan and execute in field marketing, PR, promotions, partnerships and experiential marketing and execute strategic marketing partnerships (including influencers)
- Leverage proprietary tools, systems and methodologies to correlate marketing communication activity with results and evolve strategy plans as needed
Background & Skills
- We’re looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in social.
- You’re fluent in English (speaking and writing on a professional level). Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
- Knowledge of the US Hispanic market pop culture is a plus.
- Knowledge of US Hispanic marketing practices is a plus
- The ability to interpret a brief and add value through innovation and experience.
- We’re looking for a proficient client-facing candidate with at least 5 years experience in a marketing agency, consultancy, production company and/or client side studio, managing people and/or teams.
- You have a keen understanding of the business objectives of brands and can quickly grasp their challenges and opportunities, identifying exactly what needs to be achieved from the get-go.
- Managing the client relationship is your foremost responsibility, you grasp technology in a way that allows you to scope projects and propose target-driving quotes and timings.
- You will work with partnerships in different projects, developing client relationships and work-streams miles(tones) ahead.
- You’re experienced in creating presentation decks and can help shape proposals from a basic technical perspective or a commercial one.
- You have to have excellent organizational skills, microsoft office management and high attention to details.
- Last but not least, you’re a joy to work with; you’re great with clients and coworkers alike and know how to inspire teams to go the extra mile.
- Adaptability and comfort with change and ambiguity.
- Comfortable with data, qualitative and quantitative.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, generous paid time off, and other benefits also are available.
