GIS Analyst

The GIS Analyst position offers applicants a chance to be a part of a rapidly growing business in a highly visible individual contributor position within Atlas Sand’s Corporate Headquarters in Austin TX. The GIS Analyst will be creating operator maps using ArcGIS Pro, pulling data from public and government entities, and working on Business Development projects that impact business.

This role is in person at our Corporate offices in Austin, TX

 Responsibilities

• Pull information from public and government sites
• Digitize maps
• Creating operator maps
• Creating Density maps
• Business Development Projects
• Logistics Data analysis

 Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years of GIS experience in Oil and Gas, Midstream Logistics or Land and surface use
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in ArcGIS and Google Earth
• Data Analysis experience is a plus
