Financial Crime Compliance Analyst - Zepto

The Role You'll Play

To support our growth, we’re looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst to join our Legal, Risk & Compliance team. 

With experience in financial services, you’re excited by the opportunity to bring your skills into a startup and fast paced environment that is innovating in the world of payments and develop and grow as we do. 

With a meticulous focus and passion for compliance, you will have gained experience in Anti Money Laundering (AML) compliance and operations as you will support the management of AML/CTF compliance and prevention of financial crimes.

Reporting into the Financial Crime Compliance Team Lead, you will:

• Conduct transaction monitoring and customer screening initiatives including customer onboarding and due diligence checks.
• Conduct PEP and Sanctions screening and risk assessments. 
• Carry out transaction monitoring and detailed case investigation of red flag transactions, customers, other suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity.
• Monitor AML/CTF and financial crime related issues, escalate potential high risk customers and suspicious activities and provide sufficient information for further review.
• Analyse data and prepare reports related to AML/CTF and other financial crime risk assessments.
• Assist with design, configuration and maintenance of AML/CTF and other screening rules in transaction monitoring platform.
• Provide compliance and operational support on all aspects of implementation, maintenance and review of AML/CTF and financial crime compliance, training and assurance program(s) as required.

What You'll Bring to Zepto

You will bring at least 3 years’ experience working on AML/CTF tasks and are confident with AML/CTF requirements and best practice in Australia. You’re known for their strong analytical and risk assessment skills and are comfortable working in a busy, high volume, competitive commercial environment. You build rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders and can successfully liaise to obtain further information as required. You are tech savvy and comfortable in using Excel or Google Sheets.
