Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to specialize in the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of autonomous vehicles. This role is essential for the smooth operation and innovation of our AV fleet.

• Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes,  steering, and throttle.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles like sensor installation and alignments.
• Perform modification and replacement for aftermarket autonomous vehicles.
• Participate in validation tests after repairing or replacing.
• Documentation of processes, procedures and results.
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks maintenance including diagnostic and repairs.
• In-house manufacturing experience.
• Capability with understanding CAD drawings and BOMs.

Requirements

Required:

• ASE Certification or relevant technical certification in automotive mechanics, with a focus on emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting autonomous vehicle systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in automotive mechanics, with specific skills in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is preferred.
