As our Embedded Software Engineer, your overall focus will be developing and implementing our custom radar signal processing stack on customer platforms. The candidate must possess experience working with ARM assembly, low level programming, and/ experience in building math/acceleration libraries based on ARM NEON architecture. Experience with developing firmware utilizing a vendor supplied Board Support Package (BSP) is preferred.

Salary parameters for this role are based on experience, with a base in the $120,000 to $150,000 range. In addition, we also offer equity participation, full benefits, 401K (with match), and a 4:1 days onsite:WFH option for most roles. This position is based at our company headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA.

Specific Duties:

Implementation of bare-metal applications to interface with hardware
Software API development and Interface Control Documentation (ICD)
Developing and implementing our custom radar signal processing stack on customer platforms
Working with other embedded/radar engineers to mature and integrate algorithms and implement them into multicore processors
Debugging complex low- and high-level software-firmware interactions
Analyzing computational complexity
Develop Firmware utilizing a vendor supplied Board Support Package (BSP)

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years overall engineering experience in real-time embedded software/firmware
Experience with Software/Firmware application analysis (testing, benchmarking, & conducting trades)
Experience in low level programming in ARM Assembly OR with SIMD/DSP Intrinsics, and/or building math/acceleration (fixed point/floating point) libraries based on ARM NEON architecture
S./B.A. degree required; emphasis in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related discipline strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing firmware utilizing a vendor Board Support Package/BSP
Experience with low level C programming
Experience with Python, Matlab and/or Linux
Experience within the automotive sector
