We are hiring a Leader to build out and oversee a Sales Engineering team tied to our US West Region. This person will partner with sales leadership to achieve revenue quota targets and company goals.  Along with leadership peers, responsible for all aspects of technical pre-sales, including demo and Pilot process and securing technical wins. Must have experience in leading high-tech sales motion to create maximum revenue velocity. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a team of Sales Engineers who serve as our core product introduction, evaluation, and education experts 
  • Hire, onboard, ramp, and mentor the team to the extent each Sales Engineer can stand alone to demo Exabeam and manage their own Pilot
  • Develop/hone repeatable, scalable processes to drive increase in Pilot velocity
  • Define and develop sales offerings and repeatable use cases that meet the needs of our customers, drive adoption of cloud delivered product in mid markets 
  • Develop strong working relationships across internal functions (sales, customer success, operations, product, marketing, engineering, etc.)
  • Create training content for the SE organization when appropriate
  • Contribute to product development by providing insight and feedback relative to customers’ critical business issues and solutions opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Previous managerial / leadership experience, in pre-sales
  • Success in hiring, developing, leading technical professionals
  • Knowledge of Security products and technologies (e.g. SIEM/Log Management, IDS/IPS / Network / Endpoint Security, Incident Response); understanding of SOC environment
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Expertise in at least one of the following: IBM QRadar, ArcSight, Splunk, SumoLogic, LogLogic, LogRhythm, RSA EnVision, Symantec SIM, and other similar marketplace products.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable in a nimble environment.
  • Willing to participate in cross functional projects to support the growth of the global SE community
  • Must have the ability to travel in territory and in geo as needed
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range:

$204,000 - $306,000

  • Range is reflective of base pay only
  • Does not include variable pay
  • Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
