Job Overview:

The Director of Product Marketing will create differentiated and compelling positioning and messaging to expand our business model. The scope of this role spans several pillars including core product Marketing including use cases and solutions within and across industries, competitive analysis and response, owning the personas, segments and the buyer journey to drive the demand generation engine, and messaging, positioning and sales plays to support the revenue team.

Reporting directly into the VP of Product Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a strong track record within a technology lead company (preferably SaaS), curiously motivated to thoroughly understand our product and its technical differentiation, translate that differentiation into key messaging to targeted audiences, and hire, train, scale a team of product marketers.

  • Create and optimize messaging to clearly set customer expectations and communicate value to customers
  • Lead, develop and execute GTM strategy and plans for existing and new product releases
  • Be intellectually curious to understand our products and their unique value to customers. Develop competitive differentiation, persuasive messaging, and impactful storytelling around our capabilities and solutions
  • Promote a deep understanding of our users and customers, and help evangelize that understanding with leadership and partner teams
  • Partner with enablement to empower our sales and customer success team with playbooks, customer stories, competitive positioning and a strong feedback loop between sales and product.
  • Support Analyst, PR, awareness and demand initiatives with content, materials, and strategic messaging.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including engineering, computer science, mathematics or another relevant area of study
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience
  • Ability to drive strategy as a partner with senior stakeholders
  • Technical acumen and demonstrated ability to understand complex products and functionality
  • Strong performance marketing experience within a hyper growth technology company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Proven competence in project management, experience with reporting, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines
