Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations of Revel’s customer facing infrastructure and DevOps organization
• Architect and build a microservices infrastructure paved road and CI/CD for Revel’s software engineers
• Construct a DevSecOps practice
• Ideate and architect purpose-built infrastructure automation tooling
• Centralize observability tooling
• Cloud cost optimization
• Curate incident and change management policies and procedures
• Drive periodic capacity planning, availability management and disaster recovery planning

Required Skills

• Bachelors or technical degree required
• 7+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience with a very strong cloud operations background
• 7+ years of management experience with 2+ at a senior level
• Demonstrated track record of collaborating with IT, Corporate Security, and technical management organizations
• Self-starter with an ability to run successfully through ambiguity to provide recommendations on project direction
• Strong work ethic with high tolerance for ambiguity and adaptability to change
• Proven success in cross-functional integration/relationships and operational execution
• Proficiency in operational excellence and well architected best practices
• Intellectual agility and excellent written as well as verbal communication skills
• Robust ability to challenge the status quo.
• International travel as needed to Northern Europe
