The Opportunity

The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for communicating the company’s strategy and asset portfolio financial performance, specifically focused on Asset Backed Securitization and Loan Sales funding, to the Institutional Investor community.    

Reporting to the Chief of Funding, this is a key role within the organization and carries high visibility both internally and externally.

They will be responsible for coordinating  all forms of outreach to the institutional investor community, tracking investor participation across funding programs, extending the institutional investor base across all funding programs and developing strategy to ensure the investor community participation scales in line with the company’s funding programs.  

The position will generally be externally facing but will need to work cross-functionally on key program elements with a number of other departments in the organization. 

Your day-to-day

  • Drive the overall team’s strategy and agenda, focus on enhancing communication, operating efficiency, governance, process efficiency and effectiveness of the IR function
  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the overall key deliverables for the IR function, specifically presentations for conferences, roadshows and targeted one on one outreach. Maintenance and update of pitch materials and supporting data
  • Coordination of due diligence process
  • Support and manage relationships with rating agency analysts and institutional investors
  • Work with relevant partners and stakeholders to become familiar with Mosaic’s businesses, financials, and strategy, as well as relevant industry topics and peer comparisons
  • Manage ad hoc and special projects
  • Responsible for reviewing all Analyst work products before incorporating into communications materials
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective relationship with investors, internal and external partners, and stakeholders
  • Creation, direction, and management of financial analytics where appropriate
  • Create tracking system to record all investor interactions, investment preferences, key contacts, and current holdings
  • Initiate broad outreach to existing contacts to introduce them to Mosaic as a corporation and to the various loan products we originate. Integration of tracking reports with existing Salesforce initiative

What you bring to the team

  • At least 10 years experience in the Capital Markets arena with a focus on leading Investor Development
  • An extensive personal “rolodex” and an ability to hit the ground running with outreach initiatives. 
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with Capital Markets partners, including broker-dealers
  • Successful history of working within a capital markets/finance team environment and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across Finance suite
  • Solid work/team ethic

Bonus Points

  • Solar and/or Home Improvement lending experience (or similar consumer asset class experience)
  • MBA in Finance
  • Other relevant capital markets experience

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
