We are looking for a marketing leade to lead Developer Marketing for Roblox. You will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of content that helps our global developer community excel at Roblox. You will lead marketing for important Developer Relations initiatives including Game Fund, Talent Hub, Developer Town Halls. The Developer Marketing function will guide key initiatives including the Roblox Developer Conference (RDC), and scaled guidance to help developers thrive on our platform.

You will work cross-functionally with close relationships across Developer Relations, Product, Communications, and Marketing teams. You will have exceptional marketing strategy and execution skills to orchestrate planning and executing of large-scale events, marketing programs, integrated marketing campaigns, and more. You are also very effective with confidence driving influence with stakeholders at all levels.

You will:

  • Build content strategy for developers. Understand their journey, assess existing gaps in education and content, build a plan, and implement scaled content ( studies, developer values).
  • Create and distribute scaled guidance that helps developers understand the unparalleled opportunity on Roblox.
  • Help them use the tools that the platform provides.
  • Lead Roblox's largest presence, Roblox Developer Conference (RDC) with the support of the team.
  • Provide marketing support for important developer programs (such as Game Fund and Developer Town Halls).
  • Guide marketing for strategic developer resources including Game Fund and Talent Hub.
  • Seek out and distill insights to understand the Roblox developer ecosystem - especially as we scale internationally.
  • Use insights to create scaled content and innovative programs to help developers excel at Roblox.
  • Report to our Head of Product Marketing 

You have:

  • 7+ years developer marketing experience with a leading technology platform.
  • Experience creating impactful scaled guidance programs that inspire developers and equip them to succeed.
  • Track record in building scaled content strategy for developers across multiple channels.
  • Track record or partnering with developer relations or developer advocacy teams to create developer marketing programs for the developer community.
  • Experience with leading content and marketing for developer events, from large-scale flagship activations to smaller developer gatherings.
  • Experience driving alignment with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in messaging, positioning and marketing/content strategy.
  • Ability to drive results from strategy to hands-on execution.
  • Experience building a team of developer marketing experts.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
  • High attention to detail including precise communications.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience creating communications for technical audiences.
