Job Summary:
- The Director, Client Solutions will partner with Pivot Point’s Business Development Team to serve as a subject matter expert and solution architect. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their strategic goals and critical challenges, and work with them and your Pivot Point colleagues to design solutions based on Pivot Point, Vaco, and industry partner services.
- Examples of this work can include but is not limited to technical implementation plans, resource planning, integration plans, budget / total cost of ownership models, and other criteria typically required by a health system to review and approve a large expenditure capital project.
- You will also work with healthcare-aligned organizations, such as our clients in the Life Sciences space (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, precision medicine, research) to design, develop, and deploy products and services into the EMR/health system ecosystem
- Resource must have a strong history leading EMR delivery and serving as the executive partner with senior healthcare executives at one of our core EMR platform partners, Epic or Cerner. This resource will serve on the National Business Development Team as a Solution Architect / Subject Matter Expert, helping to both support pursuits identified by the rest of the business development team as well as self-generate pursuit opportunities through client outreach, with particular focus on developing trusted client partnerships to expand services via Managed Services, Data & Analytics, ERP, Life Sciences, Revenue Cycle, and other growing Pivot Point practices

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Position the organization for long-term revenue gain with clients and through partnerships, cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a solution architect for high-value client pursuits
- Expand Life Sciences, Data Analytics, and Managed Services opportunities as initial areas of focus
- Own, manage and deliver high-value client partnerships with individual deal values in excess of $ 5M/year in revenue
- Lead solutioning and analysis sessions with client senior executives (Chief Information Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Innovation/Strategy Officer, etc) to deliver strategic, industry-leading insight and help shape health system strategic plans and large-scale capital expenditures to drive increased value and capability out of their technology stack, focused on the EMR at the center
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview and select consulting resources for strategic engagements key to PPC revenue
- Oversee and supervise Managed Services and large project delivery teams
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Deep experience with healthcare IT delivery
- Subject matter expertise with Epic, Cerner or other primary vendors in the market
- Executive presence with polished presentation skills; ability to serve as an executive leader
- Commitment to a positive workplace culture and environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database knowledge
- Ability to serve as the primary client-facing executive and solution architect for high priority sales pursuits
Education and Experience:
- MBA, MHA, PMP, or like degree with emphasis on business, healthcare IT or project management preferred
- Epic or Cerner application certification required
- Minimum of 10 years in healthcare IT consulting, delivery, operations or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s or other Advanced Degree preferred
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 20%, primarily industry/vendor conferences and client sales / executive touch base trips
