Your Mission:
- Providing technical resources and support to the dev community
- Representing the company at developer events (presentations with code or live demos)
- Helping developers understand and use the company's products and services
- Building trust with developers
- Listening to and advocating for developers
Who You Are:- Overall 3+ years of experience as a Developer Advocate or relevant experience in pre-sales
- Technical Expertise in Real-Time Analytics: An understanding of analytic databases and SQL are paramount. Cloud and streaming tools like Kafka are highly desired. Vector databases, StarTree and Apache Pinot skills are very nice to have
- Strong Communication / Content Creation Skills: Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, clear explanations. This includes writing how-to blog posts with code, creating tutorials, demo videos, and public speaking - in that order
- Community Building and Engagement: Advocates must actively engage on platforms like GitHub, Slack, Stack Overflow, Reddit and other developer watering holes, fostering collaboration and answering questions. DAs need to empathize with developers' challenges and provide actionable solutions
