JOB FUNCTION

Provide support for database design, implementation, and maintenance, on MS SQL Server databases for our Software-as-a-Service customers, who range in size from small independent businesses to multi-nationals.
Automate the extraction/receipt of key data from accounting systems and import via a series of flat files in a pre-defined format into our product.

NOTE: This role will be required to work U.S. business hours.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
  • Create 'customers for life’ by delivering world-class support to our customers and partners
  • Be responsive, professional, and proactive in all interactions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation, implementation, and production issues and maintain customer database extractions to ensure the Service utilizes up to date customer data.
  • Continuously learn about Sugar and sales-i products, core technologies, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Share your knowledge, experience, and best practices with the Support department
  • Work cohesively with other departments to ensure the customer’s voice is heard throughout the company
  • Document known solutions for internal collaboration and public consumption
  • Demonstrate a commitment to and willingness to take ownership of our customer’s success.
  • Experience and Skills:
  • 3+ years’ experience with MSSQL SQL Server; concentrations in writing T-SQL and troubleshooting data imports.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Good ETL knowledge of different SQL based accounting systems: like Sage, Dynamics, Epicor.
  • Good MS Office knowledge (Particularly Excel)
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Good planning, scheduling and organization skills.
  • Communicate technical solutions to non-technical people.
  • An ability to learn new software systems.
