We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Corporate Security Specialist 

This is a critical life-safety role designed to help the Security Organization keep employees safe and secure.  This role will be instrumental in responding to security and fire related emergencies, life-safety alarms, and emergency situations which occur within the business.  As a Corporate Security Specialist, you will be the first line of response within the business to assist employees during emergencies and security related matters.  Further, you will be responsible for investigating incidents and assisting with training and awareness across the business. 

Responsibilities will include:  

  • Respond to all manners of emergencies that occur across the business. 
  • Physically capable of fighting fires and responding to emergencies. 
  • Investigate all manners of incidents across the business. 
  • Provide security awareness training to all business units. 
  • Work as a liaison between local, state, and federal emergency responders and investigators. 
  • Conduct patrols at all facilities. 
  • Work as an Emergency Response Team Leader. 
  • Assist Security Operations Center Operators within the Security Organization in order to respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and other duties as deemed prudent by leadership. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Desired Qualifications  

  • 5 to 10 years previous experience in response or patrol. 
  • Basic First-Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.  Advanced medical training a plus. 
  • Experience and working knowledge of Video Management and Access Control systems. 
  • A working knowledge of corporate security best practices and firefighting procedures.
  • Ability to engage and work with local, state, and federal first responders.
  • Military or public safety experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.  
  • Experience with OSHA Regulations, specifically 1910 Subpart L App A – Fire Protection)  
  • A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!  

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
