Media.Monks is looking for a well-rounded Copywriter to join us on a fixed term contract, to write Swedish copy for integrated campaigns spanning print, social, video and digital. You will be responsible for analysing local market requirements and nailing quality, messaging and tone of voice across all creative copy.



  • Wield words, wisdom and wit on behalf of BMW / MINI. Write copy for origination and adaptation projects in line with central guidelines and local Nordic market requirements. 
  • Partner with the creative team to develop integrated concepts across multiple touchpoints: from taglines and radio scripts to concepts for market-specific activations across print, social and digital. 
  • Present ideas to clients, understanding the brand KPIs and tone of voice for your local market.
  • Oversee copy for small to medium projects in production, working with the team to verbalise ideas, iron out concepts, and nail the creative.
  • Responsible for all key copy and campaign content for your given projects.
  • Support Producers / PMs in putting together briefings for offshore Designers, specifying line breaks, punctuation, key words, USPs, etc. 
  • Build strong internal relationships to support the team, and help get creative concepts approved swiftly on quick turnaround projects and larger campaigns. 


Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years professional copywriting experience in advertising, communications or marketing.
  • Experienced in developing copy-based concepts with clever taglines in line with brand requirements.
  • Combine creative writing with critical thinking and emotional intelligence: you know when to push and when to pick your battles. 
  • A decent portfolio showcasing work across multiple deliverables for advertising.
  • A detail-oriented and organised attitude, never missing a comma or a dash.
  • Not afraid of doing repetitive work when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can steer clients and pitch ideas. 
  • Enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Used to working in fast-paced environments. You enjoy the hustle and know how to prioritise to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Humble and open to feedback and proactive in seeking ways to develop when time allows.
  • Keen eye for detail, and high-quality standards
