Commercial Growth Manager, Retail

As a Growth Manager at Adyen, you will be an integral part of building a new strategic growth vertical. Together with the Vertical and Pillar leads (Unified Commerce), you will help transmit Adyen’s retail positioning and strategy within the commercial organization and into Adyen’s current and future retail client base.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a extensive source of knowledge for your colleagues in the account management and sales teams and other company departments
  • Build strong relationships and navigate the organization to connect the right external and internal stakeholders and their priorities
  • Support the commercial approach and go to market for new retail products, geos, segments, ranging from informing pricing strategy to delivering trainings or driving go to market enablement
  • Provide strategic and consultative advice to help influence and win key opportunities with enterprise retail merchants, prospects and partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate merchant, prospect and partner’ needs and feedback, to enhance the Unified Commerce proposition

Who you are:

  • Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations (especially in retail) and coordinating (high level) technical, operational and business discussions
  • Enjoy engaging others and developing strong working relationships at all levels of management
  • Skilled in leveraging your business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess and help reach our commercial pillar goals
  • Excited to prioritize and manage multiple projects across different departments, while motivating and collaborating with others to achieve results 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in account/project management or sales, consulting, or a related field
  • Bachelors degree
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Other Job Details:

  • Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours/week
  • Some domestic and international travel required
