About the Role

iCapital is looking for an experienced Client Solutions professional to contribute to the development and execution of its international expansion. The candidate will drive the business development activities of iCapital in EMEA with a primary focus on the Wealth Management segment. The candidate will be expected to develop and manage prospect and client relationships through their full lifecycle and will be expected to work collaboratively across all teams within iCapital to establish best long terms relationships with our clients and partners. This role will be based in London or Zurich.



  • Take ownership in formulating and executing the business development strategy for EMEA with a focus on leading Wealth Management organizations (Banks and Wealth Managers).
  • Establish, maintain, and further develop key account relationships with Wealth Management firms in EMEA to deliver the full suite of iCapital’s solutions.
  • Ability to deal with complex negotiations through a multi-constituent sales process at the executive level.
  • Develop a deep understanding for iCapital’s value proposition, key market trends and identify business opportunities to address the challenges of leading Banks and Wealth Managers.
  • Take ownership for the professional and timely response of RFPs from Wealth Managers, Banks, Distribution Platforms, and any other related activity.
  • Represent iCapital on roadshows and external events.
  • Work across various iCapital’s business units and senior executives across the firm to achieve best client outcome and successful long term client relationship.
  • Provide constant feedback from the field on competitive landscape, investor appetite, trends and share with colleagues globally.


Candidate Profile

  • 15+ year of experience in Wealth or Asset Management.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships with demonstrated capabilities to strategically manage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent understanding of the Wealth Management business and specifically the way to scale private markets business within banks/wealth management organization (incl. understanding of front and middle/back office private markets fund operational workflows).
  • Deep understanding of Private Markets/Alternative Investments; ideally gained as a Private Markets Product Specialist for a large international Bank or Wealth Manager.
  • Ability to comprehend, articulate and showcase industry knowledge in regards of complexities encountered by Banks which are scaling their alternative business.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to large, complex projects with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - experience in Project management across various teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong appetite to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment, self-motivated with an hands-on attitude.
