Responsibilities

• Create best in class customer experience supporting claims management
• Client onboarding-Claims component
• NW portal training to include supporting NW claims services.
• Claims reporting, Nurse Triage, First Fill, data reports. 
• Transitional duty program development and deployment to Kinetic policy holders.
• Claims review scheduling and management for Kinetic policy holders.
• Injury analytics reviews and loss control collaboration of services.
• On demand claims management consultation for Kinetic policy holders.
• Identification of high-risk policy holders and establish programs to reduce exposure and mitigate cost.
• Engage Kinetic TOBS team with clients identified with high sprain strain injuries.
• Engage loss control team in mitigation of recognized loss sources driving results.
• Claims closures for all claims post 90 days without payments.
• Data and results reporting to the VP of Insurance Operations and VP of Underwriting. 

 Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of workers compensation claims experience, that includes managing lost time and litigated claims, loss reserve analysis, claim reviews directly with policyholders and creating loss trend reports.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience conducting workers comp claim reviews with employers and their insurance agent.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff.
• Ability to perform loss/claim trend analysis based on large claim data sets and create forml plans to mitigate exposures through both claims management and loss prevention services.
• Proficient in Excel creating pivot tables and charts. Preferable if you have experience plotting and visualizing data in a business intelligence platform like Tableau or Looker.
• Ideally, proficient with the Google Suite of business products.
• Preferable if you’ve worked at an insurtech company or MGA
