⭐️ The Business Development Representative - Team Lead job ⭐️

Our Sales organization is the engine that drives our B-to-B customer reach. We grew from a few to 110+ people in 2024 and we’ll make the Alan Sales org grow even more over the next few years.

We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems!

Joining the Sales team at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate Sales professionals, across multiple segments: Tech, Hotels & Restaurants, Retail, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Large and Very Large companies.

The BDR Team Lead 🇫🇷 is the owner of sales outbound prospecting results in France on 3 strategic segments: Hotels & Restaurants, Retail, Manufacturing. 

As such, your targets are to ensure the team achieves their outbound prospecting goals. You will also continue to build and develop a high-performing, scalable go-to-market team to ensure we can grow exponentially over the next few years.


Your mission will be to:

  • Defining the goals and strategy to reach the acquisition objectives, scale our BDR model and maximize the impact of BDR-booked meetings on Alan’s growth. 

  • Empowering every team member to reach personal and team targets. This includes day to day coaching, weekly pipe reviews, creating and delivering regular training. You will spend 80% of your time with your team and in the field.

  • Recruiting, onboarding and developing high performing and committed BDRs in France while ensuring a progressive career path for the future. 

  • Collaborating with the Sales Ops team to maximize sales efficiency (tooling, processes, business monitoring...).

  • Working directly with all senior stakeholders at Alan to articulate our global go-to-market approach and create synergies with the other countries on all the different business lines.

⭐ Is it you we’re looking for?

You will be a great fit for the BDR Team Lead role at Alan if you:

  • Have a strong background in B2B Sales

  • Have hands-on experience as a Business Development Representative or equivalent

  • Have at least 6 months of experience in Sales team leadership and coaching

  • Have a strong background in Sales within demanding environments (complex problems to solve and decisions processes in highly competitive markets)

  • Are comfortable operating in fast paced environments and managing uncertainty

  • Have full working proficiency in French (C2 and above), and advanced level in English

  • Have strong analytical skills

  • Have a desire to learn fast and make an impact from day 1

  • Are based in (or willing to relocate to) the Paris area


For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C1-D level range.
