Role Overview

InStride is looking for an accomplished Designer to join the design and creative team. The main charge of this role is to help synchronize the visual storytelling from our sales presentation materials to InStride.com. The ideal candidate is someone who applies their skills across both traditional and digital design and is ready to push themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts in line with creative briefs
  • Work within the greater design team, while partnering with marketing and sales to craft creative assets
  • Deliver on day-to-day work while proactively seeking opportunities to grow the InStride brand
  • Balancing multiple brand design tasks at a time is your bread and butter
  • Track projects and tasks in Asana
  • Review freelance designers’ work to ensure it aligns to tone, style, brand guidelines, and voice
  • Build scalable processes to create and launch new landing page designs 

 

Ideal Profile

  • 3-5 years of brand design experience (education experience a plus)
  • Intimate knowledge of industry tools (especially Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma; bonus After Effects)
  • Mastery of design production process from concept to delivery
  • A passion for great work with the vision, instincts and tenacity to make it happen
  • Curious and strategic problem solver
  • Adhering to and developing brand guidelines
  • Defining brand design goals and journeys based on corporate partner or learner goals
  • Experience working within diverse, dynamic, cross-functional teams
  • Eager to solicit feedback from real users and teammates
  • Ability to listen and understand feedback from a diverse set of stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage many tasks at once and deliver high-quality output every time, on time
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates originality and innovation
  • Curiosity, humility, and a passion for doing great work
  • Strong sense of ethics, and responsibility in understanding the way the work InStride do influences the world around us (learners, corporate partners, learning partners)
  • High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality
  • Understanding of major social media platforms and the different ways that visual media is displayed and consumed on them is a plus
Target base compensation amount for this role outlined below. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts shown below.
