About the Team

Our Partner Managers have been the key to our success at DoorDash Canada since the team's launch in 2020. Partner Managers work coast to coast and manage a book of business consisting of some of our most valuable partners. They approach each conversation with an action-oriented mindset while looking to align their partner’s growth goals with overarching DoorDash strategy. 

About the Role

Partner Managers own the overall relationship with restaurant owners on an ongoing basis. Typical responsibilities include upselling incremental products and services to our existing business owners to help their businesses accelerate to new levels, holding periodic business check-ins, making/implementing operations improvements, troubleshooting product-related bugs, recommending marketing strategies, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention on the account as a whole. Partner Managers have a broad scope, and jump in to help business owners wherever and however they can.  You will report into Manager, Merchant Strategy in our Outside Account Management organization. This role will be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

  • Mitigate instances of churn, while identifying and supporting new store expansions

  • Upsell products to your book of business
  • Advocate internally for how to best solve your merchant’s objective.
  • Collaborate with internal growth teams to identify the best opportunities for merchants in your book of business to expand their sales
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews that highlight key wins and opportunity areas
  • Work with businesses to establish critical goals and key performance indicators for their business.

  • You have 2+ years in a sales role while exceeding performance metrics consistently
  • You are creative, persistent and passionate about sales, and have a dynamic personality

  • You value collaboration and thrive in ambiguity 
  • You are tech-savvy and navigate sales tools and internal tools quickly (Salesforce, Outreach, Google Apps, etc.)
  • Have experience increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and product adoption
  • You have an ability to understand and communicate complex operational processes
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to learn fast and juggle competing priorities
  • You are Bilingual in French (Only mandatory for Montreal role)
