The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6-7 Paediatric Audiologist to join our team in Greater London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, providing high-quality audiological services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake audiological procedures in line with existing clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Process and triage patient referrals in line with BSA guidelines.
• Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
• Assist with the booking of patients when necessary.
• Maintain professional competencies and CPD.
• Monitor essential stocks and reorder when required.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and safe working environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC Registration (in process).
• Previous experience working as an Audiologist in either NHS or private sector settings.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principle.
• Training in infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, and health and safety awareness.

What a Paediatric Audiologist Does:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Diagnose and manage hearing and balance disorders in children.
• Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
• Provide auditory training and speech reading programs.
• Educate children and their families about hearing loss and hearing aid care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
