An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Orthotics and Prosthetics Occupational Therapist to work for NHS client based in Newport, Hampshire. The role is available for a successful Occupational Therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for a short term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

The role will require the successful candidate to work autonomously across a variety of settings, including the Prosthetics department, community locations, in-patient wards and patients own homes. You will work as an integral member of the Prosthetic Rehabilitation multidisciplinary team (which also comprises a physiotherapist, a prosthetist, a nurse, a counsellor, an assistant practitioner and visiting consultant) providing high quality specialist occupational therapy interventions to those with acquired or congenital limb loss. You will be accountable to the Clinical/Professional Lead for Orthotics and Prosthetics and line managed by the Team Leader for Prosthetics.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Previous experience within Orthotics and Prosthetics
• Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
