Rate: £13 - £15 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is looking seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 3 Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our inpatient dispensary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including labelling, dispensing, covering the hatch, and performing ward top-ups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be labelling and dispensing medications within the inpatient dispensary. You will be managing the dispensary hatch. You will be performing ward top-ups and ensuring medication availability. You will be supporting the team with back-up on-call and late duty commitments

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:
  • Holds the NVQ Level 2 in pharmaceutical services.
  • Previous experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Experience working in a dispensary
  • Proficiency in using CMM/JAC systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior NHS experience (desirable).
• Desirable:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
