Automation Engineer - Coalesce

We are looking to expand our engineering team with a Sr. Automation Engineer in New Zealand. In this role you’ll ensure that our SaaS platform, product, and tools function appropriately. You’ll work closely with the developers to ensure any changes behave as expected, and be a key member of our small but growing team in New Zealand.

Your day-to-day activities will entail:

• Analysing current functionality

• Write automated tests to ensure stable and reliable releases

• Defining test plans that cover typical customer use cases and business scenarios

• Load testing with larger volumes

• Assisting the customer success team with troubleshooting and identifying bugs

• Reporting and documenting issues

• Reviewing functional changes

• Working closely as a team by actively participating

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or similar relevant field

• Previous experience working as a highly productive Individual Contributor on a complex software product

• Writing test automation in JavaScript

• Ability to work fully remote but must reside within New Zealand

• Good time-management skills

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

This is a permanent fully remote position, as Coalesce is a global company, founded in the USA, with employees residing around the globe. And our current focus is to expand our engineering capacity in New Zealand.
