Associate Commercial Sales Engineer - Costa Rica

Are you a tech enthusiast who enjoys identifying critical problems and providing solutions to ensure successful business outcomes? If so, we would love for you to learn more about this opportunity to join a quickly growing team that shares these passions.

In this role, you will work on architecting Data Protection, Analytics, Storage, Virtualization, Database, and Cloud solutions for our customers to support Cohesity's growth. This critical role will have close interactions with Cohesity Sales, Customers, Engineering, Support, Product Marketing, and Partners!

How you’ll spend your time here

  • Customer Presentations and Interactions, connecting their business and technical needs to Cohesity’s capabilities
  • Initial virtual demos and sizings based on customers needs
  • Staying up to date with Cohesity’s new solutions and competitive information
  • Assisting Sr. Sales Engineers with sizings, research, etc. 

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

  • Familiar with industry terms and competitive landscape
  • Dedicated to receiving trainings, updates and mentorship (SE Summit, Spark, SKO, Other)
  • Working toward Initial Industry certifications (Cloud, DB, or adjacent technologies)
  • Track record of rapid advancement based on learning and mentorship  
  • Solid understanding of tools for daily work (communication, presentation, documentation)
  • Ability to learn quickly and share information with others.
  • Ability to partner in a larger sales team to execute initiatives
  • Demonstrated adaptability and coachability
  • Ability to create a persuasive presentation and present to groups
  • Public speaking ability
  • Focus on personal development (independent learning)
