We are excited to partner with a dynamic Media Agency based in Manly, currently seeking an Account Director for a 12-month maternity leave contract.

About the Role:

As the Account Director, you will be the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of interesting and well-renowned brands. This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead across your group. We are seeking someone with strong commercial acumen and exceptional client service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage team growth and profitability without impacting existing clients.

  • Lead project scoping, ensuring exceptional work delivery and adherence to timelines.

  • Foster agency-client relationships, ensuring client buy-in to strategies.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of each client's business objectives.

  • Adhere to talent retention and personal development plans, supporting a positive work culture.

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years' experience within a planning/buying role in an agency environment.

  • Strategic understanding of the role of channels and the ability to impact client objectives.

  • Advanced knowledge of all media & research tools required for planning and ability to analyse the output and identify insights that influence media planning.

  • Strong relationship management skills - both client and media relationships.

  • Excellent knowledge of the media landscape and the impact of changes to media consumption trends.
