Role Description

The role consists of being a technical program manager supporting our Sales and Marketing teams. The Program Manager will partner across multiple lines of business to deliver business solutions, bringing in the right stakeholders, ensuring requirements are defined, creating plans and delivering solutions. The role will lead key projects, drive cross-team dependency mapping, and align Program Managers and Engineering Managers to deliver against roadmaps. This role will work with Upstream/Downstream Dependency teams such as our Storefront Engineering, Salesforce and Oracle teams.
 
This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will be able to define the work as well as dive in and do the work. You will also be responsible for understanding the strategic objectives, drive planning, assess risks and challenges, develop comprehensive project plans, drive multiple work streams and secure the necessary resources (internal and external) to make it happen. You will partner cross-functionally across Dropbox with business and technical stakeholders and teams to ensure successful and timely outcomes. 
 
A Successful Candidate Will…
Operate effectively with teams and executive management and be comfortable leading, negotiating and influencing without authority. You have strong planning and organizational skills, broad understanding of information technologies and business systems, knowledge of business functional areas and exceptional collaboration and communication skills. You have worked with Sales or Marketing teams - either operationally or with supporting technologies. You are strategic and see the big picture while also being tactical managing the details, understanding interdependencies and constraints between systems and processes, and ability to drive a project from start-to-end.  You should be comfortable managing and leading in an agile mindset, leading change, and controlling projects in a fluid fast-paced environment. You may have experience managing or coaching Scrum or Kanban teams. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead initiatives in the sales and marketing systems.
  • Facilitate quarterly planning exercises and drive cross-team dependency management.
  • Build and foster positive relationships with executives and their management teams (technical and business).
  • Be a change agent by leading and championing change management and transformation efforts.
  • Domestic and international travel required if/as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years program and project management on large-scale implementation and integration projects.
  • Domain knowledge of Sales, Marketing and Go To Market (GTM).
  • Experience managing or coaching Scrum or Kanban teams
  • Previous experience working with internal facing and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to quickly synthesize large amounts of information into actionable plans.
  • Ability to rally resources to execute and deliver under critical timelines.
  • Minimum undergraduate from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience with implementing enterprise solutions preferred.
  • PMP and ITIL certified preferred.
  • Scrum Master and JIRA experience preferred.
