iRhythm's User Experience (UX) Team

Being part of the UX team at iRhythm means bringing the voice of our patients and healthcare professionals to the forefront of conversations about new initiatives and product features. About This Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer who is passionate about improving people's lives through design and technology. In this role you'll work closely with a cross-functional team to craft and implement a product vision that redefines how clinicians read and interpret recorded heart data. You will be at the center of our product development process leading the design of simple and delightful user experiences around highly complex technology.

We are seeking someone who believes great isn't good enough, is a fierce advocate for the end user, and has the ability to concept big picture ideas as well as execute the fine details.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Management, User Research, and Engineering to ensure projects are well-defined, high impact, and successfully executed
• Lead, inspire, and mentor Product Designers to craft experiences that accomplish our business goals while remaining simple and intuitive for our end users 
• Partner with leaders on the team to create design systems and advocate for the consistent use of design standards across experiences
• Collaborate with various Engineering teams to navigate development tradeoffs and ensure that designs are implemented as envisioned
• Balance your time between leading design efforts and acting as a hands-on designer

Requirements

• Experience developing product design strategies
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems
• Experience motivating, mentoring, and leading Product Designers
• Strong ability to solve complex user problems through innovative and simple designs
• Strong understanding of visual design principles (layout, color, typography, etc.) 
• Excellent communicator, facilitator, and storyteller
• A proven track record of shipping high-impact digital products 
• Minimum 8 years of experience with end-to-end product design across mobile and/or web platforms
• Industrial design experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Interaction Design, or related field
• Willing to travel occasionally to participate in user research (post-COVID restrictions)
