Job description

We are currently seeking a Manager of Global Benefits to join our Global Total Rewards Team at Sumo Logic. This role will report to the VP, Global Total Rewards. On a global level, builds, implements and administers all global benefits plans, programs, policies and processes. Location: Redwood City and open to remote candidates


  • Strong understanding of benefit plan design within multiple geographies
  • Utilizes best practices within the software and tech industries
  • Strong business acumen
  • Leads global benefits implementation and renewals
  • Leads Open Enrollment for US employees
  • Experience automating benefits educational materials
  • Stays apprised of market trends and changing legislation

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drives strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and administration of benefits programs
  • Harmonizes and builds benefits programs in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Proactively partners with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, and Procurement
  • Implements continuous improvements with benefits and wellness programs
  • Ensures benefits programs provide a positive employee experience with education and clear communication
  • Ensures benefits programs are efficient and scalable


  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Benefits management
  • Software and tech company experience preferred
  • Exceptional consulting skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations
