About this role

Remind Coaching is a rapidly growing online tutoring business. It’s a very unique opportunity to bring a valuable service directly to the millions of parents and students that use Remind daily. As the founding growth leader you and your colleagues in marketing, product and operations will own the whole customer funnel. Help us instrument, experiment, and drive all elements of acquisition and conversion. 

You will work with a cross functional team that spans product, marketing, operations, engineering, design and analytics to help Remind Coaching grow into the biggest destination in after-school help.

About you:

  • You have demonstrated impact as a growth leader ideally in a two-sided marketplace or aggregator. We will be building this function from scratch and you should come with knowledge and experience to be a team founder.
  • You are an expert in designing the product and user experience to drive growth and have worked collaboratively with marketing and operations teams to build new acquisition channels and accelerate existing ones: email, SEM, SEO, referrals, social.
  • You know how to balance a marketplace by adjusting efficacy and efficiency in acquisition channels.
  • You have used SEM strategically not just to drive high ROI traffic, but tease out market and industry insights.
  • You know how to optimize and experiment to drive success in onboarding and activation. 
  • You have a quick and accurate sense of where impact can be found, and don't like wasting time on frivolous experiments.
  • You are a person of integrity and kindness: growth at Remind will not be about tricking people, but about helping them find value. 
  • Technical, analytic or quantitative background/experience: you will be working with an analyst but you will be the owner of the funnel and you need to be comfortable diving in and exploring the data. Experience with SQL, Python, R, etc. are a plus.

What you'll do:

  • Drive acquisition and conversion on the Remind Coaching service.
  • Work closely with leaders in product, marketing, and operations.
  • Build sustained and predictable user growth. 
  • Define the long-term vision for growth of Coaching at Remind.
