At Anaplan, we are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Director of Account Based Marketing, to join and lead a part of our growing team of superstar global growth marketers. Our team is focused on building awareness and generates the demand for a connected planning platform that is helping people and companies across the globe to improve their planning processes, make better-informed decisions, and optimize their business results.

This position can be located at any of our vibrant hubs across the globe. The global team focuses on driving pipeline through targeted line of business, person-based marketing campaigns.

As an experienced Director, your primary objective on the growth marketing team is to lead taking our current expand and global account based marketing strategies and scale them for growth to meet our growing objectives of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead in the growth and scale of our install base expand and ABM strategies to identify and accelerate opportunity across our target accounts. Taking what’s currently working (and not ) and driving that to inform our future definitions and strategy.
  • Lead and demonstrate a coach/player team dynamic. Own evolving and scaling our, ABM practice across the globe, with an emphasis on driving pipeline generation exclusively from our top target accounts.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop and implement marketing strategy to support account-based selling across our target land and expand accounts – this includes all tactics, and content creation needed
  • Proactively engage with the sales and field marketing teams to coordinate, communicate and optimize the impact of marketing activities
  • Focus on the buyer’s journey and deploying the right programmatic account-specific tactical mix to deliver the right content at the right time.
  • Obsess over ABM metrics to ensure business impact measured by named accounts (sourced/influenced), database for named accounts and accuracy of that data, account/person.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive account profiles and target personas; overseeing a database of named contacts to align Marketing and Sales in defining the target audience required to achieve ABM goals and objectives.

Required attributes and experience:

  • 10+ years of demand generation marketing experience including events: technology/SaaS sector experience, enterprise B2B
  • 4+ years ABM experience
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • Proven experience executing persona-based campaigns, ideally finance, sales, or supply chain
  • Previous experience leading strategic planning, creative development and full marketing programs
  • Strong influencing ability and executive presence
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple demands and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience working at a growing company
