Job description


The Stitch Fix Strategy team works directly with the C-Level and VP leadership team to shape and drive against our company vision and strategic growth plan. The Director of Corporate Strategy will lead the company through our annual strategic planning and long-range planning efforts and quarterly board presentations. This position will report to the VP of Strategy and work alongside exceptionally talented individuals and teams at Stitch Fix, with meaningful exposure to our Board of Directors. The Director of Corporate Strategy has a front seat in driving the near and long term future of Stitch Fix, from strategy setting and resource planning, to enterprise-level goal setting and coordination of business reviews. 


  • Work closely with our C-Level and VP leadership teams to define our critical strategic, operational, and business development priorities, including new business & product launches, business model innovation, etc. over a rolling 5-year horizon
  • Help shape Stitch Fix’s strategy & priorities by identifying key industry and customer trends, along with internal opportunities
  • Work with the leadership team and cross functional teams to scope, quantify, and resource our company priorities
  • Coordinate and facilitate our monthly strategic review to track progress and drive accountability across the organization 
  • Lead story and content development of our quarterly strategic updates to our Board of Directors, with full ownership of internal meeting cadence to ensure alignment and support from senior leadership
  • Own resource analysis and planning efforts to right-size our commitments across the organization against the strategic plan


  • You have a Bachelor's degree (required)
  • You have an MBA (strongly preferred)
  • You have 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 4-5 years in corporate strategy or related function
  • You have operational/functional experience (preferred)
  • You are a focused, organized, and results-driven individual with the discipline and gravitas to drive a diverse set of cross-functional partners towards a set of defined goals
  • You have a strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-Suite/Senior business leaders 
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • You are passionate about retail, ecommerce, and consumer technology
  • You have expertise in Powerpoint / Google Slides / Excel 
  • You are able to work full time out of our headquarters based in San Francisco, CA (after current shelter in place orders are lifted and it is safe to work from our office)
