Job description

Position overview  

We are looking for a senior writer with substantial experience in writing for enterprise SaaS content marketing efforts to join Anaplan's rapidly growing Corporate Marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for consistent, clear, and concise written content, as well as evolving and implementing a unique tone of voice.

About You

You can turn complex, feature-heavy narratives to beautifully written stories, head-turning headlines, and compelling, well-structured eBooks. You are skilled in working with designers, web project managers, technical and business experts, and other writers. You thrive in fast-moving environments where you could edit a blog post, interview a subject matter expert for an eBook, and write email marketing copy all in one day.    


  • Work with Anaplan’s Content Strategy Director to manage and deliver our corporate blog’s editorial calendar and content. 
  • Write and edit demand generation campaign assets, including eBooks, blogs, social media posts, ad copy, landing pages, webinar scripts, and recaps 
  • Bring our brand voice, tone, and style guide to life by advocating for and creating clearconsistent, and concise content.  
  • Work with project owners and stakeholders to create timelines, negotiate prioritiesand communicate schedule trade-offs.  
  • Use our marketing project management tool – Workfront- to create and follow content development workflows.


  • 5+ years of experience writing and editing high-quality eBooks, blogs, social media posts, ad copy, landing pages, webinar scripts, and recaps for enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong project management skills to own and drive schedules from start to finish.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and able to multitask on a variety of different projects.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills who is willing to pitch in on a variety of content-related projects. 
  • Love for the creative process including brainstorming with designers and marketing stakeholders.
