We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager specializing in Capacity Delivery to join our dynamic Capacity Planning org. Reporting to our Manager, Technical Program Management, this role will be instrumental in partnering with cross-functional teams in order to oversee the on-time delivery and management of infrastructure build projects, as well as handling expansion and optimization initiatives to support CoreWeave’s expansive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement detailed project plans focused on capacity and infrastructure planning, expansion, and optimization, detailing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and outcomes to guarantee the fulfillment of larger infrastructure initiatives 
  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to accurately gather, define, and convey the requirements of project needs
  • Collaborate with internal procurement, datacenter, and engineering teams to streamline capacity project execution, aiming to reduce any risks tied to scaling data center and infrastructure capabilities 
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project and proactively communicate to relevant stakeholders in order to drive resolutions and minimize impact
  • Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of project scope & objectives, progress, and challenges
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, specializing in the domain of capacity planning and the strategic delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Direct prior involvement in roles centered on capacity planning, preferably within cloud service providers or similar technology sectors
  • Solid understanding of the interplay between data center resources, emphasizing capacity considerations in design, power management, and equipment resiliency
  • Demonstrated capability in leading capacity-centric technical projects, employing robust project management practices tailored to capacity optimization
  • A solid grasp of cloud computing, networking, and server technologies with a focused lens on impacts and integrations with overall capacity planning and infrastructure scalability 
  • The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner 

The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000/year up to $145,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
